In a time of uncertainty and disruption within the travel industry, NI Travel News would like to remind our readers that it is our duty and responsibility to bring you accurate updates on current events when they are available to us. It has been our honour and a privilege to have done so for thirty years, and that has not changed, nor will it change in the face of adversity.
As a team, we are proud of our travel industry here in Northern Ireland and our wider travel family globally. This industry is often the first to be rocked when troubled times hit, but is the most resilient – having faced and overcome many challenges throughout the years, this is not the first difficult time to rattle the industry, and it won’t be the last. But this too shall pass, and when it does, we will all need a holiday!
It is times like this that we realise, not all heroes wear capes; they are often sitting behind their desks in their offices, working long hours and having sleepless nights until they know that their clients are safely home on Northern Irish soil. We take our hats off to those local travel agents who have weathered many a storm at the front line of the great package holiday. Remember to support them today and in the coming weeks and months.
Right now, those people are making sure that their customers are kept updated, they are accommodating those who may be disappointed this week, but who now have a wonderful fortnight in Florida to look forward to in a few months time; they are prioritising those whose travel was imminent while politely requesting that those cruise bound in October please be patient. The travel industry is one big team, and don’t worry, no-one will get left behind and you are certainly not forgotten.
There is no better time to avail of the incredible offers for future travel than right now – Don’t cancel, just defer… Trust your travel agent, they know what they’re doing!
Don’t forsake… REMAKE!
